We headed over to Steve's brothers house (it seems to be a 4th tradition). I brought cookies for them to decorate. Even though Tori thought it w as soooo baby-ish...they all enjoyed it and tried to make the coolest one
They turned out pretty cute!
We headed out to do some of the fireworks that don't require it to be dark outside.
Eli was brave enough to do some.
Then once it was dark we headed out for the serious ones...like...Sparklers!
When the loud ones started Eli preferred to wear some ear protection!
And Oliver too. We were amazed that he kept them on the whole time.
He sure didn't enjoy the fireworks without them!!!
After watching the Red Rock Casino Fireworks we headed home and put these tired kids to bed! They were asleep within minutes!
Too bad the people down the street felt the need to do fireworks until mid-night! Good thing it is once (ok-twice with New Years) a year!

The cookies look so good! I love Oliver in the headphones. How great that he kept them on the entire time. Jackson was the only one of my kids who would wear them.
