For Alexis's birthday she wanted to go to California-just the two of use-and stay with Tara and Justin. On Friday night we went down to the Promenade-one of our favorite places to go when we are in California.

We had a nice dinner at Hillstone-so tasty!!!
On Saturday we hung out at the beach all day. We went to Paradise Cove in Malibu. Alexis learned how to boogie board and enjoyed just floating in the water, which surprised me since she isn't crazy about the ocean and what may be lurking in there (just like her dad).
They also enjoyed playing Volleyball with Mieko the dog. She belonged to the people sitting next to us. She was quite entertaining to everyone walking by!
That night Tara made her famous pizza's. They were delicious!!!

Leo wanted to make Alexis a cake to celebrate her birthday-Alexis had no idea and loved it!
We had such a great, relaxing time there!
